We at Creekside seek to glorify God as, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we worship Him, teach His Word, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and world and develop disciples for Jesus Christ. Fall Women’s Bible Studies Begins Next Week:
Women of the Word will begin their fall Bible studies next week.  The following classes are available for you.  Register soon so we can order a book for you!

• Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. beginning September 7th: Revelation (Part 1) “Jesus’ Message to the Churches.”  Both the Precept course (taught by Susan Gilmore) as well as an “In and Out” course (taught by Barb Edewaard) will be offered.  To sign-up contact Susan Gilmore (373-0953). Nursery is available for preschool children.  Contact Mary Lebo at 376-5996 to register your child. 
• Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. beginning September 13th: Susan Rushing will lead Beth Moore’s “Jesus – The One and Only.”  To sign-up contact Martha Carlson (371-0355  or mjcarlson.otr@gmail.com ).

College Labor Day Lake Party – September 6
A not-to-be-missed event!  We will meet in the church parking lot at 2:00 p.m. to carpool out to the Moninger’s home.  Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, and towel!

 Fall Kick-Off Fellowship Lunch – September 12
Join us as we kick off our fall schedule with a lunch following the morning worship service.  More details coming soon!

Annual Women’s Luncheon – September 19
Ladies, you are invited to our annual Women’s Lunch immediately after the morning worship service in the Fellowship Hall.  The cost will be $7 and sign-up begins this Sunday, August 22nd,in the church foyer.  Come enjoy this special time of fellowship with your Creekside sisters!

Women’s Mini Retreat – October 2
What season of life are you in?  We have all had times of renewal and  beginnings like spring and summer.  We have all had times of heartache and feeling far from God like winter or fall.  Come join us for a time of learning what God has to say about the changing seasons in our lives on October 2nd, at the home of Betty June Moninger.  We will meet from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Cost:  $15. Sign-up begins this Sunday in the church foyer.

 Annual Men’s Retreat – November 5-7
Save the date for our annual Men’s Retreat located this year at the Steinhatchee Landing Resort.   Men, plan to join us for this time set aside for fellowship, renewal, relaxation, and edifying each other.  More details coming soon!
