Sundays At 9

A crucial task of any church is to “equip the Saints.” At Creekside that equipping comes in many shapes and forms, but one aspect of this is to offer classes and seminars that cover a range of topics dealing with the Christian life. We encourage everyone at Creekside to consider these classes and to make it a point to attend one on a regular basis.

Welcome to the Family

This class taught by Michael Roop and Mitchell Cruit is a class for anyone interested in becoming a member of Creekside, as well as those who would just like to learn more about the church. No obligation for membership is assumed. If you would like to attend, please sign up by emailing . Materials will be prepared for everyone attending this class in the new AEB2 classroom, located in the classroom building next to the church office, middle classroom.

A Breviary of Sin

This class is taught by Steve Gregg and Jay Lynch. Based on the book by Cornelius Plantinga, who pulls the ancient doctrine of sin out of mothballs and presents it to contemporary readers in clear language, drawing from a wide range of books, films, and other cultural resources. Plantinga describes how sin corrupts what is good and how such corruption spreads. He discusses the parasitic quality of sin and the ironies and pretenses generated by this quality. He examines the relation of sin to folly and addiction. And he reminds us that whatever we say about sin also sharpens our eye for the beauty of grace. This class will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

You can also listen to the A Breviary of Sin class online.
