Children’s Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14

Our goal is to provide families with a safe, loving, healthy environment where we are able to help parents lead their children to know, love, and serve our Savior Jesus Christ.

Safe Environment
We want you to feel confident in the quality of care we offer your child. Here are a few of the steps we take to ensure the safety and security of your child.

Check-In and Out – Children ages 4 and younger must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. Older children must be released to a parent or sibling that is 12 or older. Please inform us if your child has any special needs or allergies.

Safe & Clean Environment – All our volunteer workers have been background checked and screened. We use disposable gloves for diaper changes and sanitize all surfaces and toys.

Parent Paging – Parents of toddlers and babies are provided with a pager so you can be contacted during the worship service. It is not unusual for a child to be upset for a brief period when the parent leaves, however, we will notify you if your child continues to be upset after 20 minutes. Parents of two-year-olds are also welcome to use a pager.

Babies & Toddlers – Childcare is provided during Sunday School hour* and worship service.

Sunday School* – Sunday School classes are provided for children ages 2 through 5th grade. Classes are from 9 – 10:15 a.m.

Children’s Church – Children ages 2 through 4 have age-appropriate classes during the entire worship service. Children enjoy a Bible lesson, craft, snack, and outdoor play time.

Children’s Worship Bulletins – available in the foyer for those children joining their parents in the worship service. They provide enjoyable learning activities that encourage the participation of the children in the service. Please return the bag at the end of the service.

Promiseland – Children K through 2nd grade join their parents for the worship service. They are dismissed at the end of song worship and escorted to Promiseland in the Fellowship Hall for a Bible lesson and activities.

Discipleship Class* – Children 3rd through 5th grades join their parents for the worship service. On the first Sunday of the month, communion Sunday, they remain in the worship service. All other Sundays, they are dismissed after the song worship part of the service for Bible study and activities in the Adult Education Building.

Treasure Seekers* – Treasure Seekers is an exciting program designed to encourage children to memorize Bible verses and learn to apply Biblical truth to their lives. It is available for children 2 years old through 5th grade on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

These programs are suspended during the summer months.
