This Sunday, our spring selection of Sundays at 9 courses kicks off. These courses, offered at 9 am on Sunday mornings, are designed to help us love God with our minds. As we increasingly see the world through a Christian worldview, we are able to love God and be about His mission with increasinging fruitfulness.
That You May Know - Ezekiel
Starting January 12, Fellowship Hall
This six-week class will explore the book of Ezekiel, focusing God’s motivation for doing all that is contained in Ezekiel’s prophecy. The most oft repeated words in Ezekiel’s prophecy are God’s explanation for His actions: “then they will know that I am the LORD.” This God’s reason for disciplining Israel, judging the nations, restoring Israel back to spiritual life, bringing an ultimate end to His enemies, and restoring His presence to His people. The long-term effects are beautiful: a world teaming with life that is fed by the very presence of God.
The Seven I AMs - John
Seven weeks starting February 23, Fellowship Hall
The Bread of Life. The Light of the World. The Door. The Good Shepherd. The Resurrection and the Life. The Way, the Truth, and the Life. The True Vine. Over the course of seven weeks, this class will explore the seven “I AM” statements made by Jesus in John’s gospel. As we do, we will gain a greater understanding of who Jesus is, what He has done for us, and how He fulfills the promises of God.
The Big Five - Questions Skeptics Have about Christianity
Five weeks starting April 19, Fellowship Hall
Based on Rebecca McLaughlin’s Confronting Christianity, we will spend five weeks looking at the most common objections to Christianity, exploring they’re answers, and prayerfully considering how to graciously engage the skeptics in our spheres of influence.
As always, our main courses (those offered in the Fellowship Hall) will be recorded and available online. If you have to miss a Sunday, check out our website, or find us on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or Spotify, and get yourself up to date!
